I Dislike Titles BEDA #20
So, I don't understand why actors or actresses want to start a clothing line but they always look really bad...I just don't get why they can't either design nice clothes or work with someone with the talent to design clothes. Also, what I don't understand is that the people who have these clothing lines wear really great clothes. I don't get it...and it's a shame that the people who can have these lines don't take advantage of it.
Fame BEDA #19
So I have been watching Fame...the TV Series from the 80's. It is so great but I don't quite understand the concept. I guess all of the kids that are in the performing art schools don't dance or play music or act because that is the whole of their being, it is because they want fame? I feel that people who peruse these things because of fame either never get there or become famous and blow it all away. I suppose all of them just want to perform, which I guess performing and fame are synonyms.

Netflix BEDA #18
So here's a list of movies I have seen on my netflix account:
I watched a lot of dance things just because I felt like dancing the past 2 weeks...
Step Up 3: So entertaining, didn't take it seriously, wish they spent more time on quality of choreography just because the other two were better..and they did moves just for 3D which sucked
Bo Burnham: Words, Words, Words: hilarious.
Lambada: SO BAD!! DO NOT WATCH! I REPEAT, DO NOT WATCH! THIS IS A PUBLIC HEALTH ANNOUNCEMENT!
The Dancer: good, I liked the dancer they followed, it was an actual documentary and not just a "I starve myself and train and train and train and ruin my feet" kind of story
Super High Me: Hmmm...educational I suppose? haha it was pretty funny as well...
Mad Hot Ballroom: I like it... a lot..
Shall We Dance? 80's version...kinda weird...
B-Girl: so bad. so cheesy.
Dancing Across Borders: Super interesting, a bit slow.
Wristcutters: A Love Story : SO WEIRD!!! but totally worth the beginning weirdness.
Etoiles: Dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet: It was good. kinda like The Dancer, but I liked The Dancer better...
Exit Through the Gift Shop: Really liked this one, the guy they follow is a bit eccentric and a loser but its interesting and I really like street art, so I enjoyed it.
The Usual Suspects: I do not even know where to begin!! It is so brilliant, plot twister, great acting, sooo good.
Strictly Ballroom: The characters are hilarious!
Dirty Dancing: one of my favorite dancing movies, it's just classic.
King Corn: Interesting but I was kind of disappointed, I heard it was really good and it didn't live up to the standards that I had placed...
The Corporation: really great, really interesting, super impressed
30 Days: I watched quite a few episodes of 30 days, impressed by all of them, in general just a nice series. It was well done, they didn't make the drama more amplified than it should be...it was just good
Freakonomics: it was great, informational...yeah...
Memento: I still don't really understand, I need to watch it again...but it was really great.
Ballet Shoes: If I didn't love Emma Watson, I would think this movie was stupid...but since I do love Emma Watson, it's stupidly entertaining...
The LXD: The Uprising Begins: I always want to type LSD instead of LXD...hmm...its good, another dancing thing...I do want to see the next one...I'm not sure if it is a TV series or if it's a movie that was cut into chapters...or what, but the dancing is great, the acting is...mehh, alright, there isn't much acting so I can't quite decide yet...

Oh my, I'm rich! BEDA #15
Oh my goodness, its already the 18th, I'm doing horribly at this...I'll just run into September...
Yesterday I went shopping, which is great, what's even better is that I went with my mom so she was willing to pay. I love when that happens. I bought a micro plush blanket which is super soft and a towel. Right now I'm counting my change that I keep in spice bottles. so far I have 18 dollars...I feel bad for the store where I decide to just pay in change.
Keep on counting!

BEDA #14
My name is Kristen and I like eating macaroni and cheese and watching Wishbone and...my hair is short...and I am wearing a long skirt...and my light is utterly crazy because I am being controlled by a woman on the internet. I will tell a story now: There once was a man named Michael Finnigin he had whiskers on his chinigan. They fell off and then grew in again. Poor old Michael Finnigin begin again. REPEAT!
My friend Kelly wrote this. She leaves Friday :(

My Problem BEDA #12
I promise I promise I promise....*fingers crossed* ....
I have a problem. This problem is that if I tell anyone about an idea or something that I'm doing, I then DON'T DO IT. It is a serious problem and I am thinking about seeing a psychologist about it(not really). Although I really do need to figure out how to not do this. Well... I will do two today and then two tomorrow, that'll be good.
Where do I begin? I feel like there is a lot I haven't told you...even though nothing comes to mind when I think about the past three days except for the obvious. So I guess I'll stick with the obvious.
Today, I had to say good bye to one of my dearest friends, Maggie. It was weird and I thought I would cry, actually I almost did but before I actually said good bye. I asked my parents if I could take the car to hang out with her and my mom taunted me saying, "Oh they're all leaving you, how sad." and in my head I was rolling my eyes and saying "stop being so sappy mom..." but then this little person inside said, "this is the last time you'll see everyone until Christmas, a lot changes in 4 months..." and I teared up. The actual good bye was nice, I hung out with her family and then another friend came over and we all talked and packed and watched YouTube and ate amazingly good Indian food and talked some more. It was delightful.
Well I think this is a blog post.
Until next time(very soon),
Kristen

All Caught Up! BEDA #11
so today I decided to sign up for Netflix, which I believe is a wonderful investment for a short while. I then went to a picnic with some friends but I got there early so I got to pick the spot where we were going to sit, I'm sure I'll tell a funny story later about tonight but right now im just waiting. So no really funny story that pokes out at me, though it was a good time.
We went to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and had a picnic on the lawn, while waiting for the sun to go down and for it to be dark we ate nutter butters and oreos. The Nelson has two buildings, the old one and the new one, which is called the Bloch building I believe. The building is very modern and you can take silhouette pictures against it so we did. It was great, the Nelson is just so beautiful. I think I am going to miss that place a lot, it's so peaceful and fresh when you're there, it's great.
Well, I think this post is done, hopefully I will have a bit more stability for the next couple of days.
